Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was so nice. The room had been set up for family use, which was great. It was lit with a fabulous dressing table to do my makeup, had a huge comfy bed, great shower, and I loved the traditional key instead of a swipe card. The only downside was that the dining room seemed a bit stretched at times.
The hotel had a mix of positives and negatives – the service was fabulous, the location special, but the rooms were a bit outdated and the dining experience could have been improved. Despite some shortcomings, the overall stay was pleasant.
The hotel offered immaculately clean rooms beautifully decorated with quality furnishings that struck a great balance while considering space. The views of the grounds and gardens were fantastic, although a bit more 'wow' factor could elevate the experience. The walk-in shower and coffee making facilities in the bedroom were nice touches. Service was excellent overall, particularly at reception and dining; however, some staff members seemed a bit off-hand and indifferent. The location, although small and not very appealing, featured fabulous rooms in the main house with beautiful views. The dining experience was a mix of fantastic service with a friendly and welcoming waiter, but some delays and cold dishes were disappointing. The facilities were adequate with a lovely atmosphere but could use a bit of improvement in some areas.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms felt more like an old folks' home with no lively atmosphere, and there was a noisy table disrupting the peace. On the upside, the hotel turned into a party spot until 5 in the morning, and it was a cozy and luxurious retreat. However, the room did not match what was promised, missing amenities, like slippers and a 40-inch TV, and the special treats I arranged were nowhere to be found, which was disappointing and affected the whole trip.
I had a luxurious and extremely comfortable stay in the room, which was the most comfortable I've experienced so far. The cleanliness was remarkable, and I can't wait to return. However, the room being very dated with a TV from 15 years ago and small radiators made it freezing, plus there was no AC in the room. The key was so big you couldn't even put it in your pocket.
The hotel overall was a mixed experience. While the rooms were very clean and offered a beautiful view with access to the garden area, they were a bit cold during the stay. The service was fantastic with friendly and accommodating staff, although the dining experience fell short with some disappointing dishes. The location was good for a country retreat, offering a peaceful atmosphere, but the food quality was inconsistent. Despite some drawbacks, the hotel provided a secure and well-maintained environment.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, but the noise from people walking up-and-down a gravel path right beside our window all evening was a major downside. The service was exceptional, with very helpful staff, although there were instances where some seemed annoyed. The location was perfect for a peaceful stay away from the city, but the untidy and unclean surroundings were disappointing. The dining options varied from sublime to slow service, and the facilities were decent overall.
I had an amazing time at this hotel! The rooms were spotless and so comfy, and I can't speak highly enough of the restaurant food and staff. However, my room was at the rear of the hotel, close to the family rooms located near the function room.
The hotel offers beautiful rooms that are clean and comfortable. The service, despite seeming a bit disorganized, is welcoming and friendly. The location is convenient but could use some refurbishment. The dining options are good, although some dishes tasted like they were prepared in advance. Overall, a decent stay with room for improvement.
